In 2016 Ervia implemented Oracle E-Business Suite R12 as its ERP Financial application. A contracted Oracle R12 Technology Senior Consultant remained engaged from October 2015 through April 2016 to provide hands-on Oracle guidance and to scope additional functionality aimed at improving finance operations.
The implementation focused on core ERP Financial capabilities, configured around General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management and procurement financial controls. Operational coverage extended across Ervia finance, treasury, procurement and asset management functions within the organization in Ireland. Integrations were oriented toward enterprise billing and asset registers, and the project emphasized transactional handoffs between procurement and payables, receivables invoicing and fixed asset capitalization workflows to support corporate accounting processes.
Governance emphasized incremental configuration, business process alignment and ongoing advisory support from the Oracle R12 consultant, with change control and knowledge transfer built into the engagement. The consultant role included identifying additional functionality to maximize efficiencies within the business and providing sustained Oracle technical and configuration guidance during the post go live period.
