In 2018 Extended Stay America implemented Basware AP Automation to centralize accounts payable and procure to pay activities across its United States operations, reinforcing finance and operational excellence functions. The deployment targeted corporate finance and franchise management teams to provide a consistent AP Automation platform for invoice processing and payment workflows.
The Basware AP Automation rollout used Basware P2P modules for invoice capture, validation, approval routing and AP/AR transaction handling, with configuration focused on centralized invoice routing, role based approval workflows and standardized invoice coding to align with hospitality financial controls. Basware AP Automation served as the primary application for procure to pay orchestration, accounts payable processing and supplier invoice management.
