In 2023, ForFarmers deployed ISGUS IT 8270 Time Clock (Hardware) terminals together with ZEUS Workforce Management across its German sites. The implementation introduced ISGUS IT 8270 multifunction terminals as the primary time capture device and established electronic clocking in to replace handwritten time tracking on site.
The deployment configured ISGUS IT 8270 terminals to support employee self-service and direct time capture workflows, while ZEUS Workforce Management handled time recording, scheduling rules, and automated surcharge calculations. Functional capabilities implemented include terminal-based clock in and clock out, pay rule automation for surcharges, and self-service interfaces for basic employee time queries.
Integrations were implemented with payroll and HR time systems in Germany to move recorded hours into downstream pay processing and HR/time/payroll workflows. The operational scope covered ForFarmers German sites and impacted HR and payroll operations as well as site-level timekeepers and shopfloor staff responsible for daily attendance recording.
Governance focused on replacing manual, handwritten procedures with electronic capture, centralizing time collection in ZEUS Workforce Management and standardizing surcharge computation. The implementation explicitly improved transparency of hours and reduced manual Excel processing, while automated surcharge calculations were enabled through the ISGUS IT 8270 and ZEUS integration.
