| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Accounts Payable | AP Automation | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2015 | 2015 |
In 2015 Gladstone Ports implemented Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Accounts Payable as an AP Automation application. The initiative embedded accounts payable processing within the JDE EnterpriseOne environment to automate invoice capture, supplier payment workflows and A/P reporting for the finance and procurement functions at Gladstone Ports.
Configuration and development work centered on JDE report design and OneView customization, using JDE Report Writer to clone standard reports where possible and to create new JDE report objects when required. The implementation translated existing Navision report requirements into EnterpriseOne formats, and extended inquiry screens by adding columns to OneView to support management reporting needs.
Technical implementation included the use of SQL scripts and SQL Server Management Studio to create test data and perform unit testing, together with standard JDE report objects and OneView modifications. Functional coverage extended beyond Accounts Payable into Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Inventory, Procurement, Projects, Plant and Equipment Management, and Maintenance and Work Order Management, and included compliance reporting for the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting Scheme and the National Pollutant Inventory.
Governance followed a requirements driven approach, with SME and key user requirement gathering, documentation of functional and technical specifications, test scripts and test plans, and release notes tied to steering committee prioritization. Post implementation verification of deployed JDE objects and ongoing maintenance of a master report requirements list were used to coordinate report delivery between report developers, business analysts and operational stakeholders.

In 2016 Gladstone Ports implemented Prime BPM as a Process Mining solution to establish event-level visibility into port operations and administrative workflows. The deployment targeted Gladstone Ports Corporation's Australian port operations and administrative functions, aligning Prime BPM with the company's operational footprint and scale of approximately 740 employees.
Prime BPM was configured to deliver core Process Mining capabilities including process discovery, variant analysis, conformance checking, case-level drilldowns, and performance dashboards. Configuration work focused on automated event-log ingestion, process model generation, KPI definition for throughput and lead time, and root cause investigation workflows to support operational process analysis.
The implementation ingested transactional and event data from operational and administrative systems to create end-to-end process views across cargo handling, berth scheduling, maintenance planning, procurement, and finance. Operational coverage emphasized cross-functional process orchestration, enabling analysts and process owners to trace exceptions from execution to source activities.
Governance changes included formalizing process ownership, establishing a regular cadence of process reviews, and embedding Prime BPM outputs into incident review and continuous improvement forums. The program standardized process definitions and conformance thresholds, creating a repeatable framework for forensic process analysis and ongoing process monitoring using Prime BPM.

In 2021, Gladstone Ports implemented Wix.com as its public Web Content Management platform for the corporate website. Wix.com serves as the Web Content Management system, providing a cloud hosted site management layer with integrated hosting and publishing workflows. The deployment centralizes external site content and corporate messaging for the port authority and is operated by the communications and digital services teams. The implementation uses vendor hosted delivery and vendor managed hosting to handle infrastructure and platform operations.
Configuration leveraged core Wix.com capabilities including template based page authoring, a visual editor, media library management, SEO controls, and scheduled publishing to support editorial operations. Role based accounts and editorial workflows were applied to govern content creation, review, and publication across marketing and stakeholder relations functions. The architecture is SaaS hosted, with platform updates, SSL, and uptime managed by the vendor, which locates operational responsibility with the Wix.com service. This arrangement positions Gladstone Ports to maintain web content through a low code interface while centralizing governance for external communications.
