| UNIT4 | Legacy | Unit4 Business World | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2014 | 2015 |
In 2014 Glasgow Airport implemented Unit4 Business World as its ERP Financial platform to establish standalone back-office operations during the AGS Airports carve-out. Unit4 Business World was deployed in a vendor-hosted public cloud environment, with server infrastructure and upgrades managed by the vendor, and it was configured to support finance, procurement, capital assets, HR and payroll.
Contracting and delivery were executed under a compressed timetable, with the contract signed in May giving just over six months to complete implementation and go-live before a hard cut-off at the end of December. The program relied on tight governance and project management, including pre-contract design workshops, and the airport operator allocated four to five full-time implementation staff supplemented by six staff from a third-party IT partner to coordinate testing and delivery.
Technical work focused on configuring core ERP Financial modules within Unit4 Business World and developing integrations to specialist airport systems, notably the Gentrack aeronautical billing system which handles the majority of aeronautical income. Building and validating those interfaces was a primary pain point, and compressed user acceptance testing resulted in some defects being carried into go-live.
Operationally the rollout included standing up a new in-house finance team to replace services formerly provided centrally from Heathrow, with an initial emphasis on migrating existing as-is processes into Unit4 Business World rather than wholesale redesign. Post go-live activity planned re-engagement with Unit4 for targeted tweaks and retraining, users reported improved reporting capability and general acceptance of the new system, and reliance on the public cloud introduced reduced infrastructure control and mandatory vendor-pushed upgrades.

| Jobtrain Solutions | Legacy | Jobtrain ATS | Applicant Tracking System | HCM | n/a | 2022 | 2022 |
In 2022 Glasgow Airport deployed Jobtrain ATS as its Applicant Tracking System to manage external hiring workflows through the airport careers portal. Jobtrain ATS is live on the Glasgow Airport website, capturing online candidate applications and surfacing job listings directly on the public careers pages.
The implementation concentrated on standard Applicant Tracking System capabilities, including job posting management, online application capture, candidate profile management, configurable vacancy templates, and workflow automation for screening and interview scheduling. Glasgow Airport configured role based access for hiring managers and HR users, and customized application forms to align with airport specific role profiles.
Operational ownership sits with the HR and recruitment functions, with the system supporting staffing across the Glasgow Airport site in the United Kingdom. Governance was applied through hiring team permissions and approval gates embedded in the recruitment workflow, using the Jobtrain ATS administration console to manage vacancy lifecycle and candidate communication.

| Lockheed Martin | Legacy | Lockheed Martin Chroma Airport Suite | Airport Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2017 | 2017 |
In 2017 Glasgow Airport implemented Lockheed Martin Chroma Airport Suite as its core Airport Management platform to centralize operational performance reporting and capacity analysis. The Lockheed Martin Chroma Airport Suite was deployed as the airport operating system supporting Operational Management, airport wide KPI dashboards and tactical planning workflows across operations and maintenance planning teams.
Chroma administration included standard Airport Management capabilities such as user management including accounts, permissions, system parameters and alert setting, contract and reference data management, seasonal data updates, system rules management and FIDs screen management. The implementation also encompassed a training programme for AOS users, day to day system administration, monitoring and escalation of system issues to the IT team, and configuration changes to accommodate airport growth and special events.
The Lockheed Martin Chroma Airport Suite was integrated operationally with the F24 emergency messaging and alert system and with Qlikview for reporting, providing inputs and outputs to Qlikview dashboards used for capacity analysis and external special capacity project work. Operational scope extended to Operational Management, capacity planning, maintenance coordination and contributors to the Continuous Improvement Governance Board.
Governance and process reshaping were embedded in the rollout through administration of the Continuous Improvement Governance Board, user policy management and facilitation of workshops to analyse process performance and identify waste and improvement opportunities. System owners provided data and context for capacity and operational improvement discussions and led evaluation of solution effectiveness and sustainability.
