EDI provided the EAM Maximo solution and the selected mobile solution while performing the implementation for overall work management, inventory management and fleet management, with mobile support across field operations.
The implementation included comprehensive IBM Maximo configuration work, covering asset hierarchies defined by geo, system and functional perspectives, critical asset consequence of failure modeling including failure codes, screen configurations, role based start centers and workflow definitions with notifications and escalations. Custom reporting, barcode processes, mobile preparation and mobile software deployment were completed, and complete data migration into IBM Maximo was executed to establish a single operational asset record.
Operational coverage focused on maintenance work management, inventory control and fleet operations at Toronto Pearson Airport, with the mobile solution enabling field technician workflows and barcode enabled transactions. The deployment emphasized role based workflows and start centers to align operational roles with task execution and notification chains.
EDI led EAM process and business re engineering in line with ISO 55000, delivering processes and procedures, overall change management and user culture change consulting, and role based training to support adoption. Governance was reinforced through configured workflows, escalation rules and reporting structures to institutionalize asset management practices in the Enterprise Asset Management environment.
