Material master data governance was configured through MDG aligned processes and Product Lifecycle Management applications were integrated into planning workflows, with SAP Fiori used for modernized user interaction and operational tasking.
Integrations focused on MDG for master data governance and PLM systems for product record orchestration, while planning applications were tied into end to end integrated planning concepts. Operational coverage included production planning, material master management, planning and PLM related IT projects, with functional consultants responsible for configuration, requirement workshops, and coordination with business stakeholders.
Governance and rollout practices combined waterfall and Agile project methods, with emphasis on user training, end user testing management, and stakeholder meeting facilitation by IT functional consultants. Starlims Abbott eScreen was used to pull drug screen results and records into operational workflows, and to manage result reporting and documentation that staff entered into the Occupational Health medical record system OHM.
Operational coverage spanned Occupational Health and Clinical Operations functions, with staff responsibilities integrating patient greeting, intake paperwork processing, phone triage for clinic scheduling, facilitation of new hire paperwork, and coordination of physicals and drug screens. Integrations explicitly supported by the implementation included automated retrieval of results from the Concentra portal and eScreen result feeds, with manual entry into OHM where required. Governance emphasized operational process alignment between screening workflows and employee medical record entry, centralizing screening coordination within Occupational Health rather than introducing new vendor or partner management details.
