In 2015, Hashoo Group implemented Infor SunSystems as an ERP Financial application. The deployment supported the companys hospitality operations in Pakistan and was managed as part of a broader property and point of sale technology stack.
Infor SunSystems was configured to act as the central financial ledger and accounts processing engine, and the implementation is documented alongside a MFF-INFOR Q&A interface server for MICROS-Fidelio Financials. The estate also included OPERA Xpress PMS S&C application servers, database servers and dedicated backup servers, plus MICROS Simphony servers handling kitchen order terminals and slip printers.
The technical architecture used dedicated application servers, database servers and backup servers, and included ONITY servers with encoders to manage electronic door locks. Backups were automated using VERITAS exec server writing to RDX drives and supplemented by scheduler scripts that performed daily backups to local, offsite and cloud targets to minimize risk. The interface server provided transactional handoffs between MICROS-Fidelio and Infor SunSystems.
Operational governance required night auditors to perform and log a System backup every night in a proper logbook, and routine preventative maintenance was executed to maintain a secure server environment. Operational processes focused on continuity for finance, front desk and point of sale functions, with explicit backup logging and scheduled maintenance windows.
