In 2010, HP implemented FIS GETPAID for AR Automation to centralize accounts receivable and dispute resolution across complex US and Canada accounts during the split of Hewlett Packard Company and HP Inc. The FIS GETPAID implementation emphasized collections orchestration, dispute management workflows, cash application support, and invoicing consolidation consistent with AR Automation capabilities. Configuration work included dispute routing and escalation rules, super user enablement for Resolver and the Dispute Resolutions Solution, and development of a universal reporting model to align internal billing and customer facing reconciliation.
Integrations and operational coverage were explicit, with FIS GETPAID workstreams consuming SAP generated AR reports for root cause analysis and aging metrics, and with Resolver and the GetPaid Dispute Resolutions Solution used to manage Canada dispute volumes. Operational scope spanned Americas level responsibilities, consolidation of a Global Invoicing system, and day to day coordination with integrated teams in sales, legal, order management, services, and Service Delivery Managers.
Governance and process restructuring were led through designated liaison roles and structured cadence meetings, including bi quarterly sessions with Controllership and BU Finance to review dispute resolution turn around times and process improvements. Project leadership responsibilities included acting as Global Specialist for the Americas, leading a team transition from pre initiation to completion for 12 employees, and providing ongoing mentorship to outsourced staff while reporting resolutions and escalations to senior management.
Explicit outcomes reported from this implementation included sustained outstanding cash flow results of plus 18M per quarter and a measurable reduction in accounts receivable for Government of Ontario accounts, the new reporting model being adopted by other engagements, and maintenance of excellent standing for a customer portfolio totaling approximately $30M. The FIS GETPAID deployment for AR Automation was positioned as the operational backbone for HP accounts receivable, collections, dispute workflows, and consolidated invoicing across its Americas operations.

Configuration emphasized global absence plans, time off policy rules, eligibility determinations, manager and employee self-service workflows, and centralized absence reporting to support consistent absence administration.
The implementation unified workforce data to enable cross-module transactions across absence, benefits, compensation, and talent processes, improving visibility for HR and managers. Operational scope included global HR operations across HP business units and locations, and the deployment freed IT resources to be reallocated to other initiatives as documented in the business case.
Governance was structured around centralized data and process ownership to enforce global policy, streamline approvals, and standardize manager and employee transactions. Reported outcomes in the business case include ROI in less than three years for the overall Workday deployment, faster, more strategic HR decision making through complete workforce visibility, and a single usable source of information for employees and managers that increased transactional efficiency.

The engagement covered implementation and ongoing maintenance of Salesforce Service Cloud and Salesforce Field Service (ex ClickSoftware), combining configuration, custom development, and administration activities.
Functional scope included Service Cloud case management, scheduling and dispatch workflows tied to the ClickSoftware scheduling console, and mobile field execution via the ClickSoftware mobile console. Custom development used Apex and Visualforce to build solutions that support most critical processes and workflow at HPE, supplemented by Salesforce Lightning configuration and Force.com point and click features.
Platform configuration work encompassed validation rules, workflow rules, custom labels, custom settings, profiles and permissions, alongside preparation of high level design and technical design documents. Project workstreams produced project scope, business requirements and functional requirements, and development was delivered through a mix of declarative configuration and programmatic extensions.
Operational integration connected Salesforce Service Cloud and Salesforce Field Service (ex ClickSoftware) scheduling and mobile capabilities to enable end to end field service processes, with daily support provided for both the Salesforce application and ClickSoftware consoles. Governance relied on documented technical designs and requirement artifacts to manage change and support ongoing administration.
The implementation supported service and field operations teams by centralizing case management, scheduling, and mobile execution under the Salesforce Field Service (ex ClickSoftware) platform for Field Service Management. Ongoing administrative ownership of the ClickSoftware scheduling console and mobile console was part of the operational support model.
