In 2004, Hi-P International implemented SAP R/3 4.6C Enterprise Resource Planning system across 10 manufacturing plants. SAP R/3 4.6C was configured to support standard ERP Financial capabilities, including Financial Accounting and Controlling, materials management and inventory control, and production planning workflows typical of an integrated ERP Financial deployment. The implementation emphasized order-to-cash and procure-to-pay process flows and master data harmonization to reduce transactional variability across sites.
The project was executed with NCS Group as the systems integrator, and the rollout targeted the companys manufacturing footprint of 10 plants, bringing consistent transactional processing and chart of accounts across plant operations. Operational scope focused on finance, procurement, inventory and production functions within manufacturing sites to create a common operational ledger and control framework.
Governance and process workstreams centered on standardizing procedures, establishing common master data governance, and instituting sustained continuous improvement in systems and procedures to maximize productivity across the company. The program was reported as successfully implemented, establishing SAP R/3 as the central ERP Financial backbone for Hi-P International's manufacturing operations.

Explicit outcomes recorded in the implementation included delivery of salary benchmarking, administration of performance bonuses and increments, and ongoing maintenance of accurate employee records through Times HRIS.
