Operationally the Capsula deployment was integrated with the SmartWave mesh Wi‑Fi fabric to extend conferencing reach to public access points and community service locations across the county, supporting use cases such as telehealth audio and video visits and virtual community services. The role of Insight Enterprises was to coordinate deployment and system provisioning, while SmartWave delivered the network and application stack.
Governance and rollout were executed at the county level with CARES funding oversight, prioritizing broadband access and public service connectivity across multiple sites. Use of SmartWave Capsula for telehealth and virtual community services is inferred from SmartWave's healthcare and audiovisual capabilities and the stated county aim to bridge the digital divide, and it aligns with the implemented network and conferencing architecture.
