Profidata Group Legacy Profidata XENTIS Portfolio and Investment Management Investment Management n/a 2018 2018
In 2018, HM Trust AG implemented Profidata XENTIS to strengthen its portfolio and risk management processes. Profidata XENTIS is deployed as the central Portfolio and Investment Management application supporting front and middle office workflows for the asset manager within the HanseMerkur Insurance Group. The implementation configured XENTIS Front Office to function as an Investment Book of Records, ensuring availability of current portfolio data by continuously accounting for trading transactions, corporate actions and price changes. HM Trust uses model portfolios and overlays within XENTIS to manage mandates and enforce constraints such as minimum fund price limits, while running scenario simulations to stress test net asset values. The XENTIS Excel module was implemented to replicate quantitative models and enable efficient data exchange between XENTIS and Excel, and the XENTIS reporting module together with the XENTIS data warehouse provides high quality customizable reporting. Integrations were established to support live trading and settlement workflows, with FIX connectivity to Bloomberg EMSX and TSOX for order execution and SWIFT messaging for communication with brokers, capital management companies and custodians. All trading decisions are subject to pre trade compliance checks inside XENTIS before automatic transfer to the order routing system, supporting standardized external trading and reconciliation procedures. Operational scope explicitly targeted front and middle office functions, trading desks and reconciliation teams within HM Trust. Governance and process standardization were central to the rollout, with internal work processes in portfolio and risk management standardized and external trading and reconciliation procedures unified on the Profidata XENTIS platform. Following project completion, HM Trust reported optimized investment processes primarily in the front and middle office and greatly increased efficiency, and the implementation was delivered successfully and within budget according to company statements.
