Oracle Legacy Oracle NetSuite ERP ERP Financial ERP n/a 2015 2015
In 2015, Home City Inc. implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP as its ERP Financial platform to centralize finance and extend controls into operations for a 100 person manufacturing business. The implementation targeted core financial management while also supporting order to cash and product catalog administration, positioning Oracle NetSuite ERP as the primary transactional system for accounting and operational record keeping. Configuration work included system administration of Oracle NetSuite ERP, implementing saved searches, custom workflows, and report customizations, plus adding and deleting products and users. The project delivered Crystal Reports and Tableau based reporting layers, and internal development of customizations and automation to align NetSuite workflows with manufacturing and warehouse processes. Integrations were executed with warehouse management and shipping ecosystems, including IRMS Warehouse System, UPS ConnectShip and UPS WorldShip, and the Magento backend for ecommerce order flows. The team received and configured EDI transactions between customers and suppliers, and served as the central point of contact coordinating changes with WMS and website developers, planning and executing integration and user acceptance testing, and managing defect tracking and resolution across internal and external teams. Governance and process work included creating flowcharts and diagrams to map current and future state business processes and facilitating adoption of new process flows across finance, operations, warehouse, and ecommerce functions. The implementation maintained third party vendor relationships, and key personnel acted independently to identify and troubleshoot system level issues, being trusted to make sound decisions that impacted the entire system while producing management reports to measure performance.
