The implementation connected depot order capture, stock replenishment, manufacturing scheduling and logistics orchestration within a unified Distribution ERP environment to improve end-to-end flow.
Governance changes included centralized supply chain planning, standardized depot stock management procedures and a phased rollout across depots and factories to align operations and shorten lead times. Process restructuring emphasized forecast-driven replenishment, tightened stock controls and formalized depot delivery and order conversion workflows.
Outcomes recorded from the implementation included a Depot EPOS and depot stock control driven stock reduction of 20 million pounds across the UK network, manufacturing system driven operational improvements and cost reductions in excess of 3 million pounds, and logistics systems delivering cost and efficiency savings in excess of 2 million pounds. Supply chain planning and forecasting shortened lead times while reducing stock holding and delivery failure, producing a 20% reduction in Depot overstocking and a Depot delivery success rating in excess of 99 percent, and the customer design solution delivered an in-depot order conversion rate in excess of 95 percent.
