Governance changes included centralized supply chain planning, standardized depot stock management procedures and a phased rollout across depots and factories to align operations and shorten lead times. Process restructuring emphasized forecast-driven replenishment, tightened stock controls and formalized depot delivery and order conversion workflows.
Outcomes recorded from the implementation included a Depot EPOS and depot stock control driven stock reduction of 20 million pounds across the UK network, manufacturing system driven operational improvements and cost reductions in excess of 3 million pounds, and logistics systems delivering cost and efficiency savings in excess of 2 million pounds.
