In 2021, Hubbell implemented Serrala FinanceSuite as part of an AP Automation initiative. The project used Serrala FS² Payments to create a central payment platform within SAP S/4HANA, uniting inbound and outbound payment information across Hubbell locations, business units and systems.
The Serrala FinanceSuite deployment emphasized a bank agnostic centralized payments hub that standardizes communication, message formatting and payment processing workflows. Configuration focused on payment orchestration and automated ACH execution, reducing manual file handling and decentralization while embedding standard processing rules and exception handling.
SAP S/4HANA served as the ERP integration point, with Serrala FS² Payments connecting bank interfaces and internal systems to provide unified payment visibility. Operational coverage included treasury and accounts payable teams across global locations, aligning finance and payments functions under a single processing framework.
Governance and process changes centered on standardized formats and centralized processing to reduce points of failure and simplify troubleshooting, a shift Treasurer Jonathon Murphy described as "more streamlined which means less risks, less failures, less headaches, and fewer places to look." The payments environment at Hubbell became highly digitized, with 80% of payments executed using ACH and 20% using checks or other payment methods.

In 2021, Hubbell implemented SAP SuccessFactors Compensation. The SAP SuccessFactors Compensation deployment serves as the core Compensation Management application supporting Hubbell's HR compensation planning, pay for performance and variable pay workflows.
The implementation was delivered as part of the broader SuccessFactors talent suite, with the Talent Systems Manager operating as lead systems administrator across Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance Management, Succession, Compensation and Learning modules. Configuration work focused on compensation plan templates, eligibility rules, approval workflow orchestration and role based administration to align HR and manager actions with established compensation cycles.
The project included explicit cross functional support with Employee Central systems administrators and coordination with a small Talent Systems team that also supports Paradox ai, Gem Analytics and Semos Job Points. Internal IT developers and third party vendors participated in defining and executing user, system and project requirements, establishing integration points and deployment sequencing between SuccessFactors modules and Employee Central.
Governance and operational ownership were structured around a centralized Talent Systems function, handling both business as usual maintenance and enterprise project work streams. The Talent Systems Manager role consolidated system administration, change control and stakeholder engagement across HR Business and HR Technology to operationalize compensation workflows and sustain ongoing configuration governance.

In 2016 Hubbell implemented Microsoft Power BI to centralize reporting and analytics within its Analytics and BI environment. The initiative focused on supporting supply chain inventory management and product management analytics, aligning Power BI dashboards with stakeholder reporting needs across IT product management and business analytics functions.
The implementation emphasized interactive data visualizations, standardized dashboard templates and custom calculations and queries authored inside Microsoft Power BI. Workstreams included data mining, data cleaning and analytics, development of user stories for visualization requirements, and the application of AI and ML approaches to supply chain inventory management use cases.
Power BI was developed alongside other visualization tools including Tableau and SAP Dashboards Xcelsius, and was part of broader data migration and website development projects in the same program. Governance measures included creation of visualization standards covering charts, logical and physical network representations, workflow diagrams and maps, and a formalized practice for recommending reporting options to sponsors and stakeholders, with ongoing assessment to support business strategy.
