In 2012 Hungarian State Treasury implemented Oracle Flexcube in the Core Banking category. The implementation targeted core account, payments and retail operations within the Hungarian State Treasury and was executed using Oracle Flexcube 10.5 to centralize client data, accounting and transaction processing.
Oracle Flexcube 10.5 was configured with explicit module coverage including CIF client details for customer information, GL general ledger for central accounting, CASA customer account saving account for deposit management, IC interest and charges working with CASA for interest calculations, ICCF interest and charges for payments for payment-level interest handling, FT funds transfer for inter-account movement, PC payments and collections for incoming and outgoing payment workflows, SMS Security Maintenance System for security and parameter controls, and RT retail teller for branch transaction processing. The narrative of modules shows a full core banking footprint addressing customer information, ledger, deposits, interest processing, funds movement and teller operations.
The IC module was implemented to interoperate with CASA as noted, and ICCF handled interest and charges on payment flows, indicating coordinated configuration between account management, interest engines and payments functions. Operational coverage included customer account management, general ledger posting, payments and collections, funds transfer operations and retail teller activities across the treasury’s banking-facing functions.
Governance and control functionality was provided through the SMS Security Maintenance System to centralize security settings and operational controls, while GL configuration supported statutory and internal accounting workflows. The implementation narrative centers on Oracle Flexcube in the Core Banking category as the primary system of record for client, ledger, payments and teller processes at the Hungarian State Treasury.
