| SAP | Legacy | SAP S/4 HANA | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2018 | 2018 |
In 2018, iCare implemented SAP S/4 HANA as its ERP Financial system. The deployment established SAP S/4 HANA as the primary finance platform for icare NSW and created a centralized Finance Systems Operations function to manage day to day operations and platform performance.
The SAP S/4 HANA implementation centered on core financial management capabilities, with the S4/HANA 1809 Finance stack complemented by SAP BW and SAP BPC for reporting and planning. Configuration work included finance process orchestration and environment-level activities during the S4/HANA 1809 upgrade, where the finance systems lead identified and guided upgrade priorities for the project team.
Integrations were explicitly instrumented with external systems, including transactional and policy interfaces to Guidewire and payment or banking interfaces to Westpac, and interfaces feeding BW and BPC. Operational support covered landscape monitoring, SAP health checks, performance metrics, and ticketing through SAP HEC and SAP-AMS, with daily remediation workflows to maintain system stability.
Governance changes included the design and implementation of a documented change and release management process, controls for transport request movement, and a formal SAP security architecture to enforce segregation of duties and role hygiene. The finance systems function was responsible for audit readiness, owning remediation for internal and external audit findings, and providing technical advice on proposed landscape changes and managed outages.
The implementation produced an operationalized finance platform with formalized support and governance, and the finance systems lead was recognized with an OPACE Award in May 2019 for contributions to system stability and operations. SAP S/4 HANA remains the enterprise ERP Financial solution supporting icare NSW finance operations.

| PageUp | Legacy | PageUp ATS | Applicant Tracking System | HCM | n/a | 2020 | 2021 |
In 2020, iCare implemented PageUp ATS as their Applicant Tracking System to manage candidate intake and online job applications. The deployment centers on PageUp Applicant Tracking System, with the live application form surfaced via iCare's careers site using PageUp hosted application pages. This configuration places the ATS as the primary recruitment front end for job postings and candidate submissions.
The implementation leverages core Applicant Tracking System capabilities including job requisition publishing, candidate application intake, application form workflows, candidate profile management, and recruiter and hiring manager workflows. Configuration focuses on embedded application forms, automated progression of candidates through recruitment stages, and centralized requisition control to support HR and talent acquisition processes. PageUp ATS is used to enforce standard recruitment workflows and role based access for recruiters and hiring managers.
Operational coverage is concentrated on iCare's HR and recruiting teams across Australia, with the PageUp Applicant Tracking System integrated into the public careers experience to capture applicants directly into the ATS. Governance includes centralized control of job postings and approval workflows within the ATS, and the operational model emphasizes recruiter administered pipelines and hiring manager review gates. The implementation is publicly accessible through PageUp hosted apply pages linked from iCare's website.

| Guidewire | Legacy | Guidewire Canvas | Insurance Claims Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2018 | 2018 |
In 2018 iCare implemented Guidewire Canvas for Insurance Claims Management to support workers compensation claims payments and recoveries. The deployment centered on a Guidewire Cloud implementation with a bespoke subledger designed to control claims payment flows and finance-side posting, aligning claims transactions to general ledger requirements.
The implementation included configuration of payments and recoveries workflows within Guidewire Canvas, a bespoke subledger that orchestrated PAYG and GST processing, and finance controls to support a three way match bank reconciliation process. Agile project management guided iterative builds, with accountability for system integration testing and user acceptance testing cycles to validate payment, tax and reconciliation logic.
Integrations were explicit and operational, the Guidewire Canvas subledger interfaced with SAP GL through an ETL layer to post finance entries, and the program managed Westpac banking requirements and cutover activities including low value testing. Project staffing and delivery included iCare technical business analysts, the iCare ETL data team, and vendor teams from Guidewire and Tenzing, coordinating cutover to production in a cloud-hosted architecture.
Governance and operational scope covered finance, claims and collections stakeholders, with the project providing granular stream-level planning, cross-stream resource optimization and regular project status reporting and impact analysis. Deliverables explicitly included ensuring PAYG and GST were correctly processed to the general ledger and delivering a working three way match SAP bank reconciliation solution for iCare Finance.
