Indorama Ventures in 2004 implemented Oracle E‑Business Suite as its new application (ERP Financial), replacing a legacy system to standardize financial and manufacturing back‑office processes across its PTA Asia business in Thailand and Indonesia. The program was run internally with the IT Site Head acting as project manager and senior developer, coordinating change requests and daily IT operations while steering the rollout and technical delivery.
The deployment included core financial and manufacturing modules—Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Inventory, Fixed Assets, Costing, Production, Quality Control and Maintenance—implemented as an in‑house Oracle ERP. In parallel the team designed and developed an Oracle data warehouse: requirements analysis with internal stakeholders, database schema design, PL/SQL stored procedures, functions and triggers to implement ETL pipelines, and the creation of views and materialized views for reporting and performance optimization. The implementation also encompassed data integrity management, performance monitoring and tuning, and a documented disaster recovery plan. The data warehouse component was positioned to support company strategists with mission‑critical and cost‑effective decision making.

In 2012, Indorama Ventures implemented Oracle PeopleSoft HCM, deploying PeopleSoft Enterprise HRMS 9.0 as its Core HR platform. The program migrated core employee records and HR administration from SAP HCM to PeopleSoft Enterprise HRMS 9.0, centralizing personnel management within Indorama's HR organization. Implementation scope focused on establishing PeopleSoft as the definitive store for employee master data and organizational structures.
The deployment included an explicit ePerformance implementation alongside standard Core HR functional components for personnel administration and workforce data. Configuration work emphasized role based security, workflow enabled performance review cycles, and data model alignment to support employee lifecycle transactions and compliance reporting. The project used PeopleSoft configuration and workflow tools to automate review cycles and approval routing for performance management.
As part of the initiative Indorama executed data conversion, reconciliation, and cutover planning to transition records from SAP HCM into Oracle PeopleSoft HCM. Governance centered on HR process standardization, master data change control, and staged user acceptance testing to validate performance and personnel workflows. The result established PeopleSoft Enterprise HRMS 9.0 as the Core HR backbone for Indorama Ventures, standardizing personnel administration and structured performance management across the HR function.

In 2020, Indorama Ventures implemented the R3 Corda Blockchain Platform as a Blockchain Platform to pilot a blockchain-enabled trade finance workflow. The pilot executed a letter-of-credit transaction with Techwool Trading in Australia using the single shared application Contour, with HSBC acting as issuing and advising bank for both sides.
The implementation focused on digitizing letter-of-credit document exchange and enabling real-time document review across counterparties. Functional capabilities implemented included permissioned document sharing, immutable transaction records, and workflow orchestration for the LC lifecycle, aligning with typical Blockchain Platform operational patterns.
Operational coverage spanned the trade finance and supply chain functions between Indorama in Thailand and the Australian supplier, with shared application access provisioned for buyer, seller, and bank. The pilot was reported as commercially and operationally viable, enabling document review in real time and reducing cost, risk and lead times in cross border trade.
