In 2017 Interstate Batteries deployed FIS GETPAID for AR Automation to centralize accounts receivable and collections activities across its distribution business. The implementation targeted corporate accounting and credit functions within the United States headquartered operation, supporting a company of approximately 2,500 employees and reported revenue near 2,000,000,000.
FIS GETPAID was configured to support core AR Automation workflows including invoicing orchestration, cash application processes, accounts receivable aging and collections management, and structured reporting. Configuration emphasized standardized AR workflows and automated task sequencing for collections teams, with system records used to drive daily cash reconciliation and dispute tracking.
Operational integration included the use of GetPaid accounting software together with Microsoft Excel for updated reports and current notes, providing both system-stored transactional detail and spreadsheet-based reporting for internal and external support. The deployment served accounting, credit, and collections groups, enabling coordinated follow up and shared visibility between internal stakeholders and external support resources, while preserving Excel as a reporting and annotation layer.
Governance arrangements focused on process standardization and documentation, with AR procedures and note-taking practices consolidated in the FIS GETPAID environment and supplemented by Excel reports for management review and external communications. Ongoing internal and external support workflows were retained, with GetPaid accounting software acting as the system of record for receivables and Excel used for ad hoc reporting and current notes.

| Workday | Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne | Workday HCM | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2016 | 2016 |
In 2016 Interstate Batteries implemented Workday HCM as its Core HR solution and migrated HR master records from Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. The implementation explicitly covered direct HR responsibilities for the Information Technology, Marketing, and International departments, representing over 200 full time employees and contingent workers, with core HR operations centralized in the new platform.
Workday HCM was configured to create a single source of truth for employee lifecycle processes, including employee records, position and organizational management, benefits administration and core HR workflows. The program also included the implementation of Workday Recruiter to manage sourcing, candidate tracking and recruiting workflows, aligning recruiting processes with HR business partner responsibilities.
Interstate Batteries led a digital recruitment channel modernization, where the careers and about us pages were redesigned and integrated with Workday Recruiter to streamline candidate application flows and employer branding. Data migration activities moved personnel and organizational data from Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne into Workday HCM and established ongoing synchronization for HR operational continuity.
Governance and rollout were organized under HR leadership, with Tonya Carruthers serving as project lead for the Workday Recruiter implementation and the careers site modernization while participating on the Workday HCM project team. Change management emphasized compensation review, training and development, employee relations and HR business partner coverage to operationalize the Core HR platform across the impacted departments.

| SAP | Legacy | SAP Enterprise Asset Management | Enterprise Asset Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2020 | 2020 |
In 2020 Interstate Batteries deployed SAP Enterprise Asset Management as the central application for an Enterprise Asset Management initiative focused on centralized asset data and migration workflows. The engagement was led with accountability for Data Migration ETL and a migration model and strategy, managing a team of 10 migration consultants and providing PMO reporting for the data migration work stream.
SAP Enterprise Asset Management implementation included extensive use of data migration and quality modules, including SAP Data Services BODS for ETL on AWS Cloud and the S/4 HANA 1909 Data Migration Cockpit LTMC with Migration Object Modeler LTMOM and LSMW for bulk data loads. The team implemented SAP Information Steward for Data Quality Management, executed duplicate checks and validation rules, and applied a Data Quality Index scoring approach as part of the data quality setup and remediation processes.
Integrations were executed between SAP Master Data Governance MDG and other components of the SAP Enterprise Information Management stack, with BPDMs created within BODS to generate jobs for multiple data objects. Data extraction and transformation were performed from source systems using SAP Data Services BODS, then loaded into target SAP modules via LTMC LTMOM and LSMW, leveraging out of the box templates available for S/4 HANA 1909 multi tenant edition.
Governance and operationalization covered global deployment method application, risk and issue management, capacity planning and staffing, demand management, and delivery governance for data migration activities. The program provided weekly Data and ERP Readiness status reports, conducted ETL workshops and training, coordinated technical architecture setup and execution globally, and served as the focal point between global, deployment, and local teams while interacting with IT, business application, and data governance stakeholders.
The delivery team was accountable for data migration, cleansing, verification and reconciliation, completing data collection for manual construction objects and performing value mapping and master list maintenance for assigned objects. The implementation ensured data readiness and verified quality throughout the data journey for assigned data objects, provided business insights for extraction and conversion from source systems, and managed ETL reporting and data load execution under the agreed governance and scheduling constraints.
