| OneStream Software LLC | Legacy | OneStream XF | EPM | EPM | n/a | 2018 | 2018 |
In 2018, Johnson Outdoors implemented OneStream XF for EPM to centralize financial consolidation, planning and reporting under Corporate Finance and to address detailed consolidated operational and sales reporting needs. The deployment targeted a unified finance platform to improve the financial close, budgeting, forecasting, data collection and audit capabilities across corporate HQ and business unit controllers.
OneStream XF was configured to deliver financial consolidation and reporting, forecasting, budgeting and data quality management as integrated functional modules. The implementation included guided workflows and workflow approval levels to enable self-service data load and validation, the ability to drill back to transactional details, extensible dimensionality to add depth for budget accounts, driver based calculations and automated spreading to convert annual amounts into monthly budgets.
Integrations were implemented with the JDE data warehouse to support drillback to source transactions, and Excel spreadsheet budget models were loaded directly into OneStream XF to preserve existing end user modeling. The single product, single application architecture was deployed as a global finance platform owned by Corporate Finance, providing both corporate HQ and business unit controllers with management and ad hoc reporting in one system.
Governance centered on Corporate Finance ownership with guided workflows that shifted consolidation activities from a centralized corporate process to empowered group controllers, while maintaining full audit capabilities back to data sources and the JDE data warehouse. Budgeting and forecasting were delivered in under 2 months from design through go live, and the program produced faster ad hoc reporting for the CFO and Board while transforming data collection, submission approvals and reconciliation processes.
