The field service chain was integrated into SAP Business One through the Coresystems cloud solution and the SAP Field Service app, enabling technicians to receive orders, record time and material on iPhone devices, capture customer acknowledgement and deliver digital reports by email. Governance focused on ERP data standardization and operational rollout across the Kardex Remstar Division, supporting decision making from management down to individual sales employees. The cloud based service solution implemented by Coresystems shortened the period between service provision and invoicing from several weeks to an average of 6 days for more than 50 percent of customer service calls, reflecting an explicit outcome reported by Kardex Remstar.
