In 2020, Keolis Sverige deployed Autofleet to manage and optimize autonomous shuttle operations for a Västtrafik deployment in Gothenburg, Sweden. The implementation positioned Autofleet as the core Fleet Management application for mission assignment, passenger booking orchestration, and vehicle telemetry collection across the pilot service.
The configuration focused on fleet operations and dispatch capabilities, with inferred module usage including fleet operations, real-time dispatch, and telemetry-integration modules tailored to autonomous mobility workflows. Autofleet was used to centralize mission assignment logic, schedule and route microtransit trips, and surface booking requests to operator consoles for on-demand shuttle dispatch.
Integrations centered on vehicle telemetry feeds and passenger booking channels to enable real-time monitoring and automated dispatch decisions, with telemetry ingestion used for remote diagnostics and state-of-charge or location tracking. Operational coverage was explicitly the Gothenburg Västtrafik autonomous shuttle program, aligning vehicle-level data, booking events, and mission status across operations and passenger service teams.
Governance emphasized operational control and KPI tracking, with rollout activities oriented to unify operational workflows for mission assignment and service monitoring. The Autofleet deployment improved operational control and KPI tracking for Keolis Sverige in the autonomous shuttle pilot, supporting ongoing operational oversight and decision making.
