| SS&C Technologies | Legacy | SS&C Advent Syncova | ERP Financial | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2015 | 2015 | In 2015 Linear Investments implemented SS&C Advent Syncova as part of its ERP Financial estate. The deployment targeted margin and financing management and was positioned alongside the firms portfolio accounting capabilities. SS&C Advent Syncova was configured to automate financing lifecycle and margin calculation workflows, integrating product modules for trade level financing, collateral tracking, and accounting handoffs typical of an ERP Financial implementation. The implementation included integration touchpoints with Advent Geneva to align portfolio accounting ledgers and with a newly built client information portal to surface financing positions to clients. The program ran under an IT operations model covering the United Kingdom, Germany, Malta, and Hong Kong, supporting approximately 150 users and reporting to the COO. A 24/7 hybrid IT service desk was established using an in-house team plus managed service providers to support production operations and third party integrations. Additional direct integrations and automation projects initiated at the same time included Bloomberg, Symphony, XDesk, SunGuard, and ULLink. Governance was centralized through IT project management that defined workflow orchestration between SS&C Advent Syncova, Advent Geneva, and front office access via the client portal, while driving a company level digital strategy. The program is documented as contributing to a 50 percent increase in company profits and achieving 99.99 percent system uptime according to internal reporting. | |
