In 2013, Lombard International Assurance implemented Profidata XENTIS, deploying the Profidata XENTIS Portfolio and Investment Management application into production in mid July after a one year implementation program. The deployment established XENTIS as Lombard's middle and back office platform to operate unit-linked investment solutions for high net worth clients and to address rising data volumes and complex customer demands.
The implementation configured core fund accounting capabilities together with middle office trade processing and back office settlement workflows, emphasizing process automation and configurable business rules consistent with Portfolio and Investment Management functionality. The platform was provisioned for more than 100 users and designed for flexibility and user friendliness, supporting fund accounting teams and operational staff in day to day processing.
Operational coverage focused on fund accounting, client servicing and middle and back office operations within Lombard's Luxembourg business, centralizing investment processing and operational workflows across those business functions. Profidata Group delivered the software and partnered on the deployment, positioning XENTIS to support international insurance business requirements and high volume data handling.
Governance and rollout emphasized platform reliability and operational acceptance, with senior executives citing improved service quality and automation. Stakeholders reported enhanced process automation, flexibility and user adoption, and Profidata characterized XENTIS as capable of supporting new business models and changing regulatory requirements for an internationally operating financial services provider.
