The implementation centered on core financial management capabilities within SAP S/4 HANA, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and financial close process standardization to support corporate productivity and finance operations. Configuration emphasized in-memory transaction processing and S/4 HANA data modeling consistent with ERP Financial functional workflows.
Deployment architecture placed SAP S/4 HANA on AWS infrastructure, with LS Global engineering personnel building and operating the environment to enable LS Group cloud services and to offer cloud linked SAP ERP solutions to external customers in telecommunications, energy, automotive, and machinery sectors. The AWS hosted architecture was positioned to support critical SAP workloads and to enable future customers to pursue business linking the AWS Cloud and SAP S/4 HANA ERP.
Governance and operational ownership were organized around LS Global operations teams who will manage the S/4 HANA instance and provide ongoing support, while corporate leadership framed conversion to S/4 HANA as essential for productivity improvement and digital transformation. The project was presented as a mechanism to support corporate productivity improvement and to create a service model for external customers combining AWS Cloud and SAP S/4 HANA.
