In 2019 MacroAsia Corporation implemented SAP Business One - Accounts Payable to centralize accounts payable processes under an AP Automation initiative, positioning the application as the core system for Accounts Payable and broader finance functions. The deployment was administered by an in-house Accounting Supervisor who led configuration and ongoing maintenance of the SAP Business One environment.
The implementation encompassed primary financial modules, with explicit administration and maintenance of A/P, A/R, Inventory and General Ledger system files inside SAP Business One. Functional capabilities configured and operated through SAP Business One - Accounts Payable include voucher and invoice processing, payment execution workflows, month-end closing controls, preparation of prepayments advances and accruals, fixed asset management tasks including depreciation monitoring and asset transfers, and preparation of AR and AP aging reports.
Operational integrations and coverage reflect finance centric workflows, the system supported bank reconciliation and Head Office coordination for bank transfers and remittances, and the finance team used SAP Business One data to drive statutory filings and online payments. The accounting function routed social security and benefits filings through government e‑gov portals for SSS Pag-ibig and Philhealth, and BIR tax reporting and return filing through EFPS, with SAP Business One serving as the transactional source for those filings.
Governance and process ownership were formalized around the Accounting Supervisor role, who acted as system administrator and approver for tax and payroll related submissions, oversaw month-end closing to ensure completeness of monthly transactions, and maintained controls over AP voucher completeness AR billing verification and fixed asset lifecycle events. The implementation emphasized rule based processing within SAP Business One - Accounts Payable for routine approvals and reconciliations, and supported day to day finance queries and interdepartmental coordination from the finance group to other business units.

In 2016, MacroAsia Corporation implemented Amadeus Altea Passenger Service System. The deployment established Amadeus Altea as the frontline Passenger Service System for MacroAsia Airport Services Corporation operations supporting airline handling at Mactan - Cebu International Airport in Lapu-Lapu City, with agent-level operations for Korea Air documented from July 2017 to present.
Amadeus Altea was configured to support typical PSS functions including computer-based check-in, reservation retrieval and ticketing, boarding pass issuance, seat assignment, and departure control workflows. The implementation also encompassed baggage processing capabilities, explicit handling of carry-on size and quantity checks, and passenger-facing announcement workflows tied to boarding and departure times.
Operational architecture centers on counter-based check-in terminals and departure control interfaces used by passenger service agents, integrating real-time inventory and departure control functions inherent to a Passenger Service System. The system is employed by agents for greeting passengers, validating documentation, processing tickets and baggage, and assigning seats, reflecting a counter-to-gate operational scope.
Governance and agent workflow emphasize strict security and safety regulations, adherence to airline rules for excess and overweight baggage charges, and procedures to support on-time departures. Daily operational tasks documented include issuing boarding passes, providing gate and boarding information, making boarding announcements, and monitoring baggage and passenger manifests as part of standard passenger service operations.
