In 2008, Maersk Line implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 as its ERP Financial system. The deployment targeted core finance operations across Accounts Receivable, credit control and receivables management, with governance and workflow touchpoints extending into cluster sales and audit teams.
SAP ERP ECC 6.0 included Accounts Receivable functionality and the Finance Supply Chain Management Collection Module, the Collection Module functioning as the primary debt collector workspace that structures daily collector activities. A Super User and Trainer role supported technical issue resolution for AR end users and delivered ongoing user enablement, while operational tasks executed through the system included review and assessment of credit applications, preparation of credit agreements for approved applications, updating and following up outstanding matters, processing freight refunds, and executing approved write offs. The Super User also assisted the Finance Manager and Receivables Manager in outstanding analysis.
Operational communications were anchored to formal messages via Outlook with an expected response within 24 hours, and processes were configured to coordinate credit control decisions with cluster sales. The implementation supported participation in both internal and external audits and formalized owner responsibilities for receivables governance under SAP ERP ECC 6.0 as the companys ERP Financial platform.

| Ramco Systems | Legacy | Ramco HCM | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2015 | 2018 |
In 2015, Maersk Line implemented Ramco HCM as its Core HR solution. The engagement was executed by the HCM SBU implementation team and spanned the full project lifecycle from kick-off through development, user acceptance testing and go-live. The implementation targeted HR operations across Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, covering more than 500 headcount in that regional scope. Workstreams were driven from Service Design Document artifacts produced by business analysts, with scope interpreted and refined in close collaboration between technical staff and business stakeholders.
Configuration and development focused on tailoring the base Ramco HCM product to Maersk Line business processes, including customized business process flows, validations and query logic. The team developed complex queries and reports based on the Service Design Document and simulated, analyzed and troubleshot incidents to identify root causes. Functional emphasis was on employee master data management, organizational structure maintenance and core HR transactional workflows consistent with Core HR capabilities.
Operational coverage extended to HR and technical support teams, with cross-functional liaison to client contacts during rollout and stabilization. The implementation treated Ramco HCM as the primary Core HR application for regional HR operations and case management, with deployments and configurations aligned to SDD-defined requirements.
Governance and support were formalized through SDD-based requirements sign-off and UAT sign-off, followed by a defined post-go-live support model. A designated Technical Support Level 1 acted as the single point of contact after go-live, responsible for incident triage, simulation, root cause identification and escalation to development when required. Ramco HCM remained the central Core HR system under this governance and support regime.
