| SAP | SAP ERP ECC 6.0 | SAP S/4 HANA | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2021 | 2021 |
In 2021, Mapletree Investments migrated from SAP ERP ECC 6.0 to SAP S/4 HANA as part of an ERP Financial program. Mapletree Investments SAP S/4 HANA ERP Financial supports core finance and project accounting functions for its construction and real estate operations.
The implementation prioritized SAP Project System PS as a primary module, with formal responsibilities to support, maintain and enhance PS alongside at least one other module drawn from FICO, MM, PM, RE-FX, HR, VIM or TR. Functional delivery emphasized translating business requirements into detailed functional specifications, and maintaining a techno functional capability to apply configuration changes or program fixes.
The S/4 HANA deployment was structured to enable cross module integration between PS and financial accounting, procurement and real estate management modules, aligning project billing, cost control and asset accounting workflows. Operational scope covered finance, project controls, procurement, HR and real estate asset management, with multi module project execution and ongoing support built into the operating model.
Governance and rollout responsibilities were assigned to techno functional personnel who manage and execute projects with or without external vendors, troubleshoot reported issues, and drive configuration or program level resolutions. Staff were expected to manage end to end lifecycle activities for SAP PS and related modules, participate in S/4 HANA implementation phases, and provide post go live stabilization and maintenance.

| SAP | Legacy | SAP SuccessFactors Compensation | Compensation Management | HCM | n/a | 2017 | 2017 |
In 2017 Mapletree Investments implemented SAP SuccessFactors Compensation as a core component of its Compensation Management program to support HR, payroll and talent processes across its regional operations. The deployment was executed as part of a broader SuccessFactors suite rollout that included Employee Central, Employee Central Payroll with Singapore and China specific payroll configurations, Onboarding, Time tracking, PMGM, LMS and Recruitment. This placement positioned SAP SuccessFactors Compensation centrally within HR operational workflows and payroll interfaces.
Configuration and modular work focused on requirements analysis, solution design, and documented configuration of the SAP SuccessFactors Compensation module and adjacent SuccessFactors components. Activities included developing compensation plan templates, configuring approval workflows and budgeting controls typical of Compensation Management, and aligning those configurations with Employee Central master data. The team performed hands on testing using scripted scenarios and maintained test artifacts to validate business rules and approval routing.
Integrations were scoped and executed with explicit touch points to finance systems and expense systems, collaborating on interfaces with Concur and S 4 HANA for payroll and cost posting flows. Operational coverage included regional payroll nuances for Singapore and China through Employee Central Payroll, and ongoing support responsibilities for HR systems and interfaces. The implementation maintained system to system data flows for employee master data, payroll inputs and compensation results.
Governance and operationalization emphasized knowledge transfer, documentation and end user training with formal deliverables and deadline management. The implementation relied on staff certified in Employee Central and EC Payroll and on in house team ownership, including vendor management and regional coordination for rollout activities. Ongoing workstreams included application support, system testing, training material preparation and a three person team responsible for day to day support and maintenance of SuccessFactors and Concur interfaces.
