In 2016, Marsat Romania implemented TotalSoft Charisma Agricultural Manufacturing as its Agriculture ERP to centralize vegetable production planning and farm operations. The deployment targeted farm level production processes and crop management workflows for the companys vegetable production business function.
TotalSoft Charisma Agricultural Manufacturing was configured to manage end to end production tasks, from preparation of agricultural equipment through fertilization, plowing and planting. Functional modules include parcel management with entry of parcel coordinates, crop year and crop records, lease contract tracking, graphical cadastral mapping support with SHP and tabular views, and precision agriculture capabilities that import sensor measurement files to enable automatic guidance with configurable accuracy. Workforce and equipment management capabilities implemented include automatic generation of work status, settlements between subunits, timesheet-driven remuneration calculations, operator performance indicators, fleet tracking and fuel consumption monitoring.
The implementation integrated production reporting with inventory events and recorded agronomic data such as vegetation state, trial culture evaluations, rainfall and irrigation events, and daily works reports to produce farm production volumes by farm, crop and culture. Subsidy governance was addressed through a real-time connection to the APIA website, enabling performance mapping per area and automatic posting of mandatory subsidy reports. Operational coverage emphasized farm level and subunit coordination, tying agricultural operations, inventory and compliance workflows into the Agriculture ERP platform.
Governance and process changes centered on automating compliance and operational workflows, for example enforcing timesheet-driven settlements and automating APIA reporting to streamline subsidy submissions. The solution explicitly aims to mitigate operator fatigue, reduce machine wear and overlaps, lower production costs and enable continuous 24/7 operation through precision guidance and automation.
