Bright SG Legacy BrightBooks ERP Financial ERP Financial Management n/a 2024 2024
In 2024, McGowan Accountancy Services Ireland implemented BrightBooks as part of Bright's product suite in an ERP Financial deployment to support client accounting workflows. The small professional services practice deployed BrightPay, Dext Prepare, BrightBooks and BrightAccountsProduction to handle payroll, bookkeeping and accounts production for clients in Ireland. Configuration emphasized functional modules for payroll processing, bookkeeping ledgers, accounts production workflows and automated bank reconciliation routines within BrightBooks and BrightAccountsProduction. The implementation included client-facing dashboards to increase client self-service and instrument routine reconciliation and bookkeeping automation across the practice. BrightPay and Dext Prepare were implemented alongside BrightBooks to consolidate payroll and source document capture within the same accounting lifecycle, enabling shared data flows between payroll, bookkeeping and accounts production. Operational coverage focused on practice business functions of payroll, bookkeeping and accounts production for Irish clients, with BrightBooks serving as the central ERP Financial ledger and reporting layer. Governance and quality assurance incorporated practice-level review workflows and CPA quality-assurance outcomes were reported as successful. The practice documented time savings and improved bank reconciliation as operational outcomes, and BrightBooks was explicitly confirmed in the case study as the application used for the ERP Financial accounting layer.
