| SAP | Legacy | SAP S/4 HANA | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2019 | 2020 |
In 2019, MediaKind implemented SAP S/4 HANA. The program was an ERP Financial initiative executed as a global deployment covering 26 countries, run as a seven month fit to standard project managed from the United Kingdom, with a successful go live in October 2019.
The SAP S/4 HANA implementation focused on core financial management capabilities typical of the ERP Financial category, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial close workflows. Configuration emphasized fit to standard SAP S/4 HANA processes, master data stabilization and a standardized chart of accounts to align cross‑country finance operations and accounting governance.
The implementation was integrated into a broader CX and commerce roadmap, with C/4HANA work scoped into a second rollout that includes SAP Sales and Service Cloud and SAP CPQ integration, and an SAP Commerce Cloud rollout tied to S/4 HANA. Those integrations were positioned to support quote to cash and order to cash orchestration, and the program included project quality assurance work for customer experience engagements with external customers such as Cadent Gas and Transport for London.
Governance for the rollout used a phased approach, regional coordination from the UK, and structured QA and training activities to upskill the European practice on C/4HANA related technologies. Release sequencing aligned finance cutover to the initial S/4 HANA go live, with subsequent rollouts planned to converge sales, service and commerce processes onto the SAP stack.
MediaKind SAP S/4 HANA ERP Financial supports the company finance and accounting functions within a coordinated multi‑country program, and the project is recorded as a successful delivery with go live achieved in October 2019.
