| smartTrade | Legacy | SmartTrade LiquidityFX Risk Management | Portfolio and Investment Risk Management | Investment Management | n/a | 2019 | 2019 | In 2019, Mizuho Bank UAE implemented SmartTrade LiquidityFX Risk Management as the core technology for its next generation electronic FX platform. The SmartTrade LiquidityFX Risk Management implementation was scoped to centralize liquidity aggregation, execution and risk management across the bank's finance and distribution channels in Japan, positioning the application as the primary Portfolio and Investment Risk Management capability for FX flows. The deployment focused on consolidating liquidity aggregation and centralized execution workflows while surfacing risk management functionality consistent with Portfolio and Investment Risk Management systems, including position and exposure monitoring, centralized order routing and support for algorithmic execution. Configuration work enabled the platform to internalize FX flow management and to expose integration points for the bank's proprietary algos and AI, preserving the ability to plug in in house execution logic and decisioning models. Operational coverage targeted treasury and distribution desks together with downstream client facing services, creating a single control plane for FX liquidity and risk across finance and distribution. Governance changes emphasized centralized FX flow governance and operational control to reduce costs, internalize FX flow management and enable new client facing services as explicitly stated in the deployment notes. |
