Data is grouped at batch level to support granular traceability back into the supply chain for quality control, while item-level digital identities enable consumer-facing provenance views through the Digimarc Illuminate Platform.
Operational integration harmonized data from multiple production and supply chain systems across Mowi USA facilities, covering hatchery, freshwater grow-out, feeding records, harvest events, and transport milestones. Consumers can scan packaging QR codes at point of sale or post purchase to view provenance on a smartphone, and every scan is captured and anonymized to feed web-based dashboards used by sales and marketing and quality control functions.
