Workday Absence Management was deployed alongside Workday HCM modules including Payroll, Benefits, Learning, Recruitment, Compensation, Talent and Reporting. Configuration and delivery activities covered absence policies, leave types, entitlement calculations, approval workflows and integrations with payroll and benefits, while programme teams executed master and transactional data collection, validation, cleansing, mapping and transformation. Integrations implemented across the programme included HMRC, Active Directory and SSO, Outlook 365, bank interfaces, procurement card and punchout connectivity, DocuSign, Broadbean, OCR invoice scanning, e invoicing EDI, ad hoc payments, cheque printing, travel booking and the CRM platform. These integration points supported single sign on, calendar synchronization with Outlook 365, payroll and statutory reporting feeds and end to end data flows between HCM and adjacent finance and procurement systems. Governance and rollout were formalized through liaison with Architectural Boards, Business Design Authorities, the Data Office, Test Service Providers and functional SMEs, with a detailed cutover plan covering pre cutover, cutover and post cutover activities. Testing was managed by designated test managers and included engagements with third party test automation solutions, while adoption was driven by a defined training and communication strategy and bi weekly programme board reviews to provide senior stakeholder oversight.

Rationalization of eGain groups and replacement of routing rules were completed through staged review and approval, embedding new routing governance into contact center operations.
