Infor Legacy Infor LX Manufacturing ERP ERP Services and Operations n/a 2014 2014
In 2014 Nippon Chemi-Con Corporation put a new Infor LX implementation into service as part of a global standardization of sales, distribution, and production systems. The Infor LX Manufacturing ERP deployment supported a company-wide effort to consolidate site specific customizations that had produced divergent operational variants across domestic and overseas production and sales bases. The implementation focused on standardizing sales, distribution, and production functions inside Infor LX, with the sales and distribution user interface and batch programs redeveloped in Java and the conventional ERP user layer removed for the new sales and distribution system. Infor LX continued to serve as the Manufacturing ERP core for production management, extending an established use of Infor ERP LX on AS/400 class IBM i platforms that dated back to the companys Indonesia factory build. Hardware and system architecture changes accompanied the Infor LX work, driven by server consolidation and platform refresh requirements. Nippon Chemi-Con evaluated three configuration options presented by CSI Solutions and selected a Power770 server combined with IBM Storwize V7000 external storage, configured into 15 LPAR partitions to map existing workloads. A ProtecTIER virtual tape device was introduced to replace per partition tape units, delivering deduplication, compressed backups, multiple virtual tape libraries from a single appliance, and the option to place a secondary ProtecTIER offsite for disaster countermeasures. Governance and rollout emphasized minimal disruption and reuse of existing partition layouts to accelerate cutover, the first machine moved in October 2013, the second in December 2013, and the consolidated Infor LX environment entering production in January 2014. Operational scope covered three domestic production bases, a United States production system, the companys web information system, and sales and distribution systems for Taiwan, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and South Korea. The program was positioned as a stepping stone toward a next generation global production system, with business continuity and data preservation cited as explicit drivers following the Great East Japan Earthquake, and with observed improvements in disk processing performance and simplified backup operations after the infrastructure refresh.

Google Legacy Google Analytics 360 Marketing Analytics CRM n/a 2019 2019
In 2019, Nippon Chemi-Con Corporation implemented Google Analytics 360 as its enterprise website analytics platform. The deployment was positioned to provide Marketing Analytics for the corporate web properties, centralizing cookie-based visitor measurement and structured reporting for digital marketing activities. Google Analytics 360 was configured to collect website browsing signals via cookies, producing analysis reports that Nippon Chemi-Con receives and uses to ascertain user browsing behavior. The implementation aligns with standard Marketing Analytics capabilities such as session and user-level tracking, audience segmentation, and centralized reporting to inform marketing and site content decisions. The analytics configuration operates alongside third-party services explicitly cited by the company, including Baidu Statistics for Chinese-language website measurement and Marketing Cloud Account Engagement provided by Salesforce.com Japan, Inc. These services are articulated as integrated points in the data collection and reporting layer, with cookie-generated browsing information saved on each provider's servers. Governance and data handling are framed in the company cookie policy, noting that analysis results are received by Nippon Chemi-Con and that website browsing information is managed on the service provider servers according to the respective privacy policies of Google Analytics, Baidu Statistics, and Marketing Cloud Account Engagement. Operational coverage focuses on the corporate website and related language-specific pages, and the primary business function consuming the outputs is the marketing organization for web analytics and campaign orchestration.
