The implementation centralized procure-to-pay workflows across procurement, invoice-to-pay, and payment orchestration components within the BirchStreet suite, with configuration to route supplier payments through virtual card rails and to reconcile rebate transactions. Deployment focused on finance and Accounts Payable teams in the United States, enabling automated invoice matching, payment scheduling, and virtual-card issuance tied to supplier invoices.
Rollout covered Northwood Hospitality finance operations and achieved automation of 100% of supplier payments, and within months shifted tens of millions of dollars of spend to virtual card payments while generating meaningful cash-back outcomes. Governance moved to centralized payment controls and standardized AP workflows to sustain rebate capture and streamline payment reconciliation.
