| SAP | SAP ERP ECC 6.0 | SAP S/4 HANA | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2018 | 2020 |
In 2018, NVIDIA implemented SAP S/4 HANA for ERP Financial. The deployment replaced SAP ERP ECC 6.0 and built on a prior BW HANA proof of concept conducted in 2017 at NVIDIA's Santa Clara site with finance stakeholders and FP&A engagement.
The implementation concentrated on core financial and profitability planning capabilities, including FI general ledger, accounts payable and receivable flows, and CO-PA extractors for profitability reporting. Workstreams included design and build of P and L planning models, gross margin planning models and consolidation models using SAP BPC for planning and reporting, with new business views and BU dimensions created for product and customer attribute-based CO-PA analysis.
Architecturally the program established a protected system landscape for model development, including copying production datasets to a planning environment for P and L builds. Integration work tied BW on HANA extractors into S/4 HANA financial structures, and BPC reports were configured with drill through to ECC transactions and reports for reconciliation. Performance remediation work converted existing EPM Add-in planning workbooks to Analysis for Office planning workbooks using AO and EPM plug-ins along with BPC plug-in, and monitoring covered data manager packages, link lists and process chain loads for master and transaction data.
Operational governance emphasized finance-led requirements capture and iterative design, with daily workshops and team sessions to resolve P and L and GM model complexities. The FP and A team drove functional requirements for planning and reporting, incident management for planning models was handled with priority-based ticket resolution, and reconciliation workflows were formalized via drill-through access to transactional data.
The SAP S/4 HANA ERP Financial deployment remained aligned with exploratory assessments of Business Objects Cloud integration and real-time planning scenarios, while ongoing activities focused on supporting existing planning models, analyzing performance issues and stabilizing planning workbooks and data loads.

| Workday | Legacy | Workday Absence Management | Absence and Leave Management | HCM | n/a | 2015 | 2015 |
In 2015, NVIDIA deployed Workday Absence Management to address enterprise absence workflows within its global HR organization. NVIDIA implemented Workday Absence Management in the Absence and Leave Management category to support HR and compensation business functions across a global employee base of roughly 36,000, including operational sites noted in Cambridge, MA, Feltham, UK, Bristol, UK, and Belfast.
The implementation included hands-on configuration of Workday Absence Management and adjacent Workday modules, specifically Core HCM and Compensation, with business process configuration for time off plans, absence types, entitlement calculations, and approval routing. Functional tasks documented during the program included requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis, EIB data uploads for mass updates, configuration changes, scripted and manual testing, and validation of absence calculations.
Operational integration focused on internal HR workflows and collaboration with the global HR Technology team to ensure consistent absence policies and process alignment across regions. Workday Absence Management was operated alongside Core HCM and Compensation to provide a unified absence and time off record, and the program emphasized support workflows for enhancement requests and cross-functional partner engagement.
Governance and steady state operations included bi-annual release reviews, analysis of new Workday functionality, ongoing change control for business process configuration, and proactive system controls to support accurate absence processing. Day-to-day responsibilities encompassed functional support, hands-on configuration, testing, and collaboration with business partners to maintain consistent absence and leave management practices.

| SAP | Legacy | SAP Enterprise Asset Management | Enterprise Asset Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2015 | 2015 |
In 2015, NVIDIA implemented SAP Enterprise Asset Management to establish a centralized Enterprise Asset Management capability for its manufacturing operations. The deployment targeted asset lifecycle controls and maintenance orchestration consistent with enterprise maintenance and repair workflows, and positioned SAP Enterprise Asset Management as the system of record for equipment master and maintenance planning.
The SAP Enterprise Asset Management implementation included configuration of core EAM functional workflows such as work order management, preventive maintenance scheduling, and spare parts provisioning, aligned to standard Enterprise Asset Management terminology and operational procedures. Configuration emphasized role based access and business process automation typical of asset management platforms, while maintaining integrations to upstream procurement and inventory processes as part of maintenance execution flows.
In 2017, J-ACHIEVE CONSULTING led design sessions and development to extend controls through SAP GRC 10.1, implementing Access Risk Management ARM, EAM related risk rules, and a Mitigation workflow to satisfy external and internal audit compliance requirements. The engagement covered design, development, scope of testing, cutover activities, and go-live support, and implemented GRC ARM workflows that replaced manual role request tracking previously managed in Service Now.
Governance changes included formalized role request and mitigation workflows within SAP GRC 10.1 to support auditability and segregation of duties oversight for EAM functions. The GRC implementation explicitly improved the role request process and met stated compliance needs for auditors, while governance responsibilities were codified through testing and cutover plans during the go-live phase.
