In 2021 Pax Versicherung's asset management unit Pax AM selected Profidata XENTIS Fund Administration as a front to back solution for Portfolio and Investment Management to support portfolio management, insurance investment controlling, and fund administration for the Pax Group in Switzerland. The decision concluded a software evaluation through August 2021.
Profidata XENTIS Fund Administration was provisioned on Profidata Xcloud and configured to deliver core functional modules for portfolio accounting, investment controlling tailored to insurance assets, and fund administration workflows. Configuration work emphasized automation of post trade processing, a consolidation layer for position and valuation data, and enhancements to regulatory reporting capabilities to address insurance reporting needs.
Operational coverage centers on Pax AM and the broader Pax Group in Switzerland, aligning the Portfolio and Investment Management application with finance, accounting, and investment operations teams. The cloud deployment architecture on Xcloud standardized centralized data management and operational workflows across investment controlling and fund administration functions.
Governance and rollout followed a staged plan after the August 2021 evaluation, with the cloud deployment announcement in March 2022 to formalize the move to Xcloud. Governance activities focused on configuration control, regulatory reporting alignment, and process standardization, with stated objectives to increase automation, enhance regulatory reporting capabilities, and reduce technical complexity.
