Payroll governance included audit procedures to ensure accuracy of enrollments and deductions and oversight of payroll configuration in Workday. This implementation supported onboarding and system configuration activities when newly acquired companies were brought onto PBF processes.
Governance and process controls emphasized documentation, compliance with PBF policies and legislative requirements, and coaching HR subject matter experts for sustained ownership of absence, benefits, and payroll in Workday. The HRIS team and Workday community were leveraged to drive standardization in service delivery, enforce consistent business process execution, and manage HR system upgrades and enhancements.
