In 2018 Perstorp completed a rollout of SAP ERP ECC 6.0 at its Stenungsund production site. This phase built on an initial SAP installation at Perstorp's largest production facility in 2014–2015 and resulted in three of Perstorp's ten production facilities being fully online on the same SAP platform, positioning the program as an ERP Financial implementation to support group finance and operational accounting across manufacturing sites in Europe USA and Asia.
The SAP ERP ECC 6.0 deployment concentrated on core ERP Financial capabilities typical for a chemical manufacturer, with configuration work to align financial accounting and controlling processes, master data governance and transaction processing with production workflows. The project emphasis included standardizing ledgers and cost controlling approaches to enable consistent financial close and operational costing across sites, while keeping system configuration proportionate to Perstorp’s manufacturing operations.
Operational coverage for the implementation centered on the Stenungsund site during the April 2017 to February 2018 window, with seven Repona consultants executing the local rollout and integration into site operations. Perstorp retained responsibility for ongoing operations management and maintenance of ECC version 6.08, using the implementation as a template for broader group rollouts across Europe USA and Asia.
Project governance and rollout practices were explicit components of the engagement, Repona supplying replacement resources to minimize stress on Perstorp key personnel and enable focused delivery. The engagement concluded on schedule under budget and was reported to have exceeded stakeholder expectations, and Perstorp signaled plans to extend SAP across the Group while continuing to manage day to day ERP operations internally.

In 2002 Perstorp implemented HxGN EAM (Ex. Infor EAM) as its Enterprise Asset Management platform to increase focus on maintenance activities after a corporate re-organization. The decision emphasized tighter information flow between maintenance, finance and purchase departments and a requirement to integrate the maintenance function with the ERP system.
Perstorp upgraded its Infor EAM footprint and used Infor ION middleware to orchestrate integration, creating eight inbound and six outbound EAM flows. The implementation treated the ERP as the master data source for spare parts and vendors, enabling EAM purchase orders and goods receipts and returns to be mirrored in the ERP application, and maintaining synchronized material and vendor master data across systems.
Operational coverage centered on maintenance operations, purchasing, inventory management and goods receipt processes, with the EAM instance supporting purchases for material both stock and direct, inventory transactions, goods receipt and services. The HxGN EAM (Ex. Infor EAM) deployment therefore linked core maintenance workflows to finance and procurement execution, aligning Enterprise Asset Management data flows with transactional ERP processes.
