| Yooz Inc. | Legacy | Yooz AP Automation | AP Automation | ERP | n/a | 2019 | 2019 |
In 2019, Peterson Auto Group deployed Yooz AP Automation to automate Accounts Payable across its five retail stores, addressing a monthly invoice and check volume of approximately 2,500 items. The implementation of Yooz AP Automation targeted the Accounts Payable function to eliminate manual data entry and to provide centralized invoice tracking for general managers and department managers.
The deployment leveraged optical character recognition and machine learning to extract invoice data and automatically assign General Ledger codes, reducing manual invoice capture and coding work. Managers were provisioned with desktop and mobile approval workflows, enabling one-click approvals and electronic signatures, while Nvoicepay AP Assist generated and executed payments. The solution delivered end to end invoice processing, approval orchestration, and payment execution capabilities typical of the AP Automation category.
Operationally the system was integrated into the dealership payment flow through CDK Global, powered by Yooz and Nvoicepay AP Assist, and was used by the Accounts Payable team, general managers, and department managers across all stores. The implementation centralized invoice visibility, removed paper file cabinets, and enabled on-demand status lookups by vendor name, shifting query handling from AP staff to self-service by managers.
Governance and workflow changes included routing automation for approvals, electronic signature enforcement, and a standardized GL coding process driven by automation. Measured outcomes stated by the client included invoice entry time falling from about five minutes to 15 seconds, approval time dropping from 45 minutes to five minutes, daily bill payment effort shrinking to about 15 minutes, and a reduction in check cost from about 5.00 per check to 1.43, producing an annual savings cited near 35,000. The dealership also reported earning a monthly rebate from Nvoicepay AP Assist for processing payments, which contributed to offsetting operating expenses.

In 2015 Peterson Auto Group implemented CDK Global DMS as its Dealership Management platform, deploying AP automation to address manual invoice handling across its Boise, Idaho dealer locations. The initial deployment prioritized accounts payable process modernization within the Accounts Payable and Operations functions, and the CDK Global DMS implementation focused on invoice processing and approval orchestration.
The implementation embedded AP Automation from CDK Global and integrated Yooz for invoice capture and workflow orchestration, alongside Nvoicepay AP Assist for electronic payment initiation and authorization. Functional capabilities implemented include automated invoice ingestion, digital approval workflows, centralized payment initiation, and audit trail capture within the CDK Global DMS environment.
Integration architecture connected CDK Global DMS with Yooz and Nvoicepay to enable seamless invoice data flow and automated routing to store general managers, removing the need to physically move documents between locations. Operational coverage included the Accounts Payable team, store general managers, and the Director of Operations across Peterson Auto Group dealer sites in Boise, Idaho, supporting day to day payables, approvals, and payment runs.
Governance and workflow restructuring established role based electronic approvals, signature capture within approval workflows, and centralized payment controls using Nvoicepay AP Assist. Director of Operations Patsy Price reported the elimination of the prior manual store to store invoice routing, noting that the electronic AP Automation in CDK Global DMS ended the weekly round robin check signing process and removed the prior paper routing bottleneck.

In 2021, Peterson Auto Group implemented About Livefyre from Adobe Systems on its public website. The deployment serves as a Web Content Management implementation focused on adding real-time community engagement and user-generated content to the organization’s digital storefront.
About Livefyre was embedded into the site using client-side widgets and JavaScript APIs that extend the content layer, enabling real-time commenting, social content aggregation, and moderation interfaces typical of Web Content Management platforms. Configuration included moderation settings, administrative roles, and front-end template placement to ensure comments and social feeds display alongside vehicle listings and marketing pages. The technical approach emphasized lightweight, browser-executed components to minimize server-side changes.
Operational ownership aligns with digital marketing and customer engagement functions, with moderation and community management workflows established to govern user-generated content on the United States-facing website. Governance uses role-based administrative controls and defined moderation workflows to manage comments and aggregated social content at the site level. The implementation is scoped to the public-facing website rather than back-office systems.
