In 2017, Pine Rest Christian Hospital implemented Epic ASAP within a Clinical Trial Management context, engaging an Epic Security Application Analyst lead consultant for an October 2017 to September 2018 engagement. The work centered on a full life cycle implementation team role that included user and security provisioning, SER provider master file build, testing, and post go-live help desk monitoring and resolution for Epic ASAP and related Epic application areas.

The analyst built application security classes across Orders, Clinical Documentation, Ambulatory, ASAP, Willow, Cadence, HIM, and Home Health, and executed testing and acceptance criteria for Epic master files relating to providers.
Data movement and technical tooling were organized across POC, TST, and PRD environments using Epic Chronicles JXPORT, FTP, Excel macro processing of XLM spreadsheets, and creation of TXT flat files for import back into Epic. Operational integrations included Active Directory for network logon ID management and SureScripts for e-prescribing, with coordination of data courier procedures between environments.
