The project converted hard copy employee history into digital records inside Rockfast Revelation Payroll and established weekly payroll processing for the organization. The deployment covered payroll calculation, superannuation and payroll tax remittance, end of year payment summaries and reconciliation workflows for a workforce of approximately 100 employees.
Configuration and functional modules focused on core payroll processing and time reconciliation, with Rockfast Revelation Payroll reconciled against Adi time software for time and attendance inputs. The team implemented payroll reporting and monthly and year-end close procedures inside Rockfast Revelation Payroll, and automated routine payroll report generation and filing tasks. Payroll administration included processing superannuation payments, payroll tax liabilities and producing end of year payroll documentation.
Operational integration extended to accounting controls and cash operations, posting receipts to appropriate general ledger accounts and reconciling discrepancies between general ledger accounts and the trial balance. Activities documented in support of month-end and year-end closings included balancing monthly general ledger accounts to record costs and accruals, reconciling bank accounts, reconciling supplier statements and monitoring client payments with follow up on past due items. The payroll function also administered Wokcover claims and handled employee complaints in accordance with company policy and government regulation.
Governance and process transformation were driven by Lean Thinking applied to the accounts department, implementing the 5S Principle of Sort, Shine, Set in Order, Standards and Sustain to standardize workflows and documentation. These governance changes and the adoption of new technologies and process automation supported thorough documentation for successful internal and external audits. Rockfast Revelation Payroll became the central Payroll application for ongoing payroll operations and compliance reporting.
