In September 2020 Port Of Antwerp Belgium began migrating administrative staff to Corel Awingu. The Belgian implementation replaced Citrix to provide secure, browser-based remote access and was selected for its HTML5 client, multi-monitor support and single sign-on functionality, with objectives to simplify access and reduce licensing costs.
Corel Awingu was deployed as a Remote Monitoring and Management solution using a browser-based gateway architecture to centralize access to applications and desktops, reducing heavy client installation and accelerating provisioning. Functional capabilities implemented included HTML5 remote sessions, multi-monitor handling and SSO, and the rollout emphasized faster deployment and notable cost savings while consolidating remote access policy for administrative operations.
