QAD Legacy QAD Adaptive ERP (ex MFG/PRO) Manufacturing ERP ERP Services and Operations n/a 2010 2010
In 2010, Professional Compounding Centers of America implemented QAD Adaptive ERP (ex MFG/PRO) as its Manufacturing ERP platform. The deployment aligned the company’s life sciences manufacturing and commercial operations with a COTS ERP designed to support discrete and process manufacturing workflows, and the implementation was discussed publicly when PCCA hosted a QAD Customer Day in Houston on June 29, 2010. The QAD Adaptive ERP (ex MFG/PRO) implementation emphasized core Manufacturing ERP capabilities including manufacturing operations and shop floor control, inventory and warehouse management, lot and batch traceability, quality management and compliance-oriented recordkeeping, order-to-cash and procure-to-pay financial workflows. Configuration work focused on industry-aligned master data such as lot and batch attributes, quality test plans, and routing or work order definitions typical of regulated compounding operations. PCCA used its Houston office to host QAD’s roadmap and best-practice sessions, creating a governance forum for operational stakeholders across manufacturing, quality, supply chain and finance to align process controls and rollout sequencing. The Customer Day event included product updates and peer networking to inform ongoing configuration, training and governance planning for the QAD Adaptive ERP implementation.
