| SAP | Legacy | SAP ERP ECC 6.0 | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2010 | 2010 |
In 2010 Proximus Telecom implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 as its ERP Financial platform, establishing core Finance and Controlling processes in the SAP application. The deployment positioned SAP ERP ECC 6.0 to centralize general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and CO planning capabilities for the communications business.
During 2015 and 2016 targeted configuration and process work was executed on the SAP Finance and Controlling footprint. In December 2015 the pricing procedure was adjusted to include the Auvibel tax in the moving average price calculation for purchase orders issued by suppliers who do not invoice that tax. In January 2016 automation logic was implemented to update material moving average price based on the Lower cost or Market principle, and in February 2016 ongoing re-engineering began on interfaces and transaction capture routines.
The implementation included a re-engineered interface to register all sales activities originating in retail shops and via the web, with transactional posting flows routed into SAP ERP ECC 6.0 finance modules. A new payment method using vouchers was configured and integrated into storefront transaction capture so voucher settlements and revenue recognition feed the SAP FI and CO ledgers.
Operational ownership and governance were driven by in-house SAP Finance and Controlling subject matter experts, with configuration changes applied to the pricing procedure and MAP calculation rules and automation scripts. The work focused on aligning operational finance processes, pricing controls, and interface transaction capture to the SAP ERP ECC 6.0 financial data model, with subject matter expert activity recorded as ongoing from February 2016 onward.

The deployment of Albert SWP focused on Strategic Workforce Planning capabilities including scenario modeling, workforce demand and supply analysis, skills and competency inventory, and strategic headcount planning, aligning HR planning workflows with business forecasts. Albert SWP was configured to support HR planners and workforce analysts, centralizing planning data and enabling iterative scenario comparison and planning version control consistent with Strategic Workforce Planning practices.
Rollout was phased from pilot to group wide use, with implementation governance managed within HR to drive adoption across talent management and workforce planning functions. The implementation explicitly covered internal employees and contingent workers during the Belgium expansion reported by RH Matin.
