In 2016 RACQ implemented Microsoft Dynamics AX as part of an ERP Financial deployment supporting core finance operations across its insurance business. The implementation was positioned alongside cloud infrastructure work and operated within a mixed environment that included AWS for non production workloads and Azure for platform and CI CD orchestration.
Microsoft Dynamics AX was configured to support standard ERP Financial capabilities, with emphasis on general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reporting and payments workflows that align to insurance finance processes. Configuration management and automation code were delivered to provision and maintain Dynamics AX test and staging environments, enabling repeatable deployments and environment parity for release cycles.
The program integrated Dynamics AX workstreams with broader IT initiatives, including the One New Bank program where components were delivered for the Single Customer View Project and integration activity with TOMB and RACE infrastructure supported the re launch of RACE Bank. Infrastructure work included proof of concept lifts of VMware servers in the DMZ to AWS to enable data centre consolidation, the use of Puppet for AWS provisioning, Azure Resource Manager templates for Azure provisioning, Active Directory and Microsoft 365 support, and CI CD pipelines maintained within the Azure platform.
Governance centered on infrastructure as code, configuration management and Agile delivery practices, with a DevOps engineer responsible for provisioning, configuration management, Agile story estimation, defect management and maintaining WIKI documentation for Microsoft Dynamics AX. Operational outcomes explicitly recorded include delivery of Single Customer View components and contribution to the successful re launch of RACE Bank in September 2017, alongside ongoing Azure security posture maintenance and single person coverage as RACQs primary Azure technical resource.

In 2011, RACQ (Royal Automobile Club of Queensland) implemented Oracle Taleo Cloud Service as its Recruiting,Applicant Tracking System. The deployment exposed Oracle Taleo Cloud Service on RACQ's public careers pages to capture applications and manage job postings directly through the website.
The implementation configured core Taleo modules common to applicant tracking such as requisition management, candidate management, interview scheduling, and offer workflow, leveraging configurable workflows and candidate profile management to support screening and selection processes. Oracle Taleo Cloud Service was used to structure job requisition approval paths and maintain recruiter and hiring manager workspaces.
Operational coverage centered on RACQ's HR and talent acquisition teams, providing recruiter dashboards and hiring manager access for roles across the organization in Australia. Integration points emphasized career site posting and candidate intake on RACQ's website, with data feeds captured into Taleo for lifecycle orchestration from application to offer.
Governance relied on HR-led configuration of approval workflows and security roles within Oracle Taleo Cloud Service to control access to applicant data and recruitment processes. Use of Oracle Taleo Cloud Service on the RACQ website established a centralized Recruiting,Applicant Tracking System that standardized candidate experience and recruitment process orchestration.

In 2023, RACQ (Royal Automobile Club of Queensland) implemented Temenos Infinity to deliver Digital Banking capabilities focused on customer onboarding and account origination. The project used Temenos Infinity Onboarding & Origination solutions to support RACQ Bank as it extended into retail banking following its merger with QT Mutual Bank.
The implementation centered on Temenos Journey Manager to design and orchestrate omnichannel onboarding journeys, with explicit configuration for four retail banking products, personal loans, home loans, transaction accounts, and savings accounts. RACQ configured device-agnostic enrollment flows to allow customers to complete account opening on the device of their choice, and emphasized a fast, simple, user friendly onboarding experience.
Deployment was scoped to RACQ Bank retail acquisition channels and integrated the onboarding journey into the club s broader customer engagement for both banking and insurance services as stated by the program. The program timeline required rapid delivery, with RACQ targeting a four month launch window for the digital onboarding experiences.
Operational ownership and rollout required cross functional coordination across digital acquisition, product origination, and customer service teams to support the new account opening and origination workflows. Governance efforts aligned journey configurations with product rules for the four specified retail products and established an omnichannel operations model to ensure consistent customer experience across channels.
The implementation narrative positions Temenos Infinity as the platform enabling RACQ s Digital Banking onboarding and origination ambitions, designed to rival mainstream providers and to win new business by improving the start of the customer journey.
