In 2013, Rolex implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 to establish centralized management and monitoring of indirect purchases. The rollout was framed within the ERP Financial context, aligning procurement transaction capture with financial accounting controls, and positioning SAP ERP ECC 6.0 as the record of procurement and spend for indirect categories.
Configuration work focused on SAP Materials Management purchasing functionality and financial accounting touchpoints, including purchase requisition and purchase order lifecycles, invoice verification processes, and release strategies for multi‑level approvals. Operational coverage included procurement and finance teams with governance changes to purchasing approvals, segregation of duties controls, and exception monitoring workflows. The implementation emphasized configurable monitoring and reporting within SAP to surface indirect spend, enforce approval pathways, and support auditability for procurement operations.

| SAP | Legacy | SAP HCM (HR) | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2011 | 2012 |
In 2011, Rolex implemented SAP HCM (HR) as its Core HR application across its Swiss operations. The deployment established SAP HCM (HR) as the central human capital management platform supporting payroll, time recording, and pension administration for Rolex Geneva and the Rolex Watch Manufacture in Bienne.
The implementation included standard SAP Payroll and Time Management functionality, identified in project documentation as the PY and PT modules, and a PK SAP module to manage pension fund assets and pensioner records. The initiative also encompassed configuration and ongoing application maintenance of Pension Fund processes for both the Geneva joint pension vehicle and the Bienne manufacture, and involvement in enhancements to pension workflows.
Integrations and external interfaces were explicit components of the rollout, with Swissdec implemented for source tax declarations, salary certificates, and OFS reporting, and a Sedex UPI interface deployed to support Pension Fund data exchanges for the Bienne site. The program also participated in the implementation and deployment of the Talent-Soft Training module to link learning and training records into the HR landscape.
Governance and operational ownership included sustained application maintenance and process refinement, with an SAP HCM Human Resources Consultant documented as maintaining Payroll and Time Management and leading pension fund module work from November 2014 onward. Operational coverage centered on HR, payroll, and pension fund functions across the Geneva and Bienne sites, with ongoing configuration and process improvement activities driving the SAP HCM (HR) footprint within Rolex.

| Dassault Systemes | Legacy | Dassault DELMIA Apriso | Manufacturing Execution System | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2017 | 2017 |
In 2017, Rolex deployed Dassault DELMIA Apriso as a Manufacturing Execution System to manage automated inventory and shop floor logistics in its Geneva region operations. The implementation centered on a LES solution for automatic stocks and logistics workflows, with Dassault DELMIA Apriso positioned as the core Manufacturing Execution System for those functions.
Configuration and functional scope included LES capabilities for automatic inventory control and a Warehouse Management oriented WM module integration point, with project teams defining the DataModel and target architecture. Teams authored functional specifications, executed validation and non regression testing, and established level 1 and level 2 user support processes for ongoing maintenance and evolution of the LES solution.
The program maintained explicit integration continuity with Rolex SAP applications, including a specific SAP ECC application used for External Precious Material and Stock, and operational interfaces to SAP Warehouse Management functionality were used to coordinate inventory and goods movement. Rollout and operational coverage prioritized logistics and inventory business functions within Rolex manufacturing operations in Switzerland, reflecting an integrated shop floor to inventory control scope.
Governance and delivery used cross functional coordination roles, including a business coordinator representing users, an IT Business Analyst responsible for requirements, testing and support, and a Product Owner managing the logistics product in Agile mode. Deployment activities included coordination and management of deployment schedules, writing of functional specifications, user acceptance testing, training and user support, and ongoing maintenance and evolution of Dassault DELMIA Apriso as the Manufacturing Execution System.
