In 2017, RACV implemented SAP Concur Invoice. SAP Concur Invoice was deployed as an AP Automation application to centralize Accounts Payable processing within RACV’s Shared Services team based at the Head Office in Melbourne CBD, supporting enterprise Accounts Payable workflows across the organisation.
The implementation focused on standardizing invoice capture, automated routing and approval workflows, line‑level validation and coding to finance ledgers, and supplier invoice lifecycle management consistent with AP Automation capabilities. SAP Concur Invoice was positioned to operate alongside RACV’s broader HR and people systems, including the SuccessFactors Suite with Employee Central, payroll and time and attendance modules, plus learning, health and safety, and onboarding platforms, aligning AP processing with Shared Services controls. Governance was routed through the Shared Services team to enforce consistent approval matrices and invoice handling procedures, and the deployment emphasized configuration of approval workflows and role-based access to support People and Culture and finance functions.

In 2014, RACV implemented SAP SuccessFactors Compensation. The rollout targeted Compensation Management alongside SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, Onboarding and Recruitment to centralize HR driven pay planning and talent workflow processes.
The SAP SuccessFactors Compensation implementation included configuration of compensation planning workflows, role based approval routing, and data model alignment with the organisation's job and position structures. Functional workstreams covered compensation eligibility, pay component mapping and the creation of solution design workbooks to capture business rules and configuration decisions.
An interface between SAP SuccessFactors and Chris21 Payroll was implemented to exchange compensation and payroll-relevant data, supported by designed and executed data conversion and reconciliation strategies. The program gathered business requirements with subject matter experts and functional leads, produced solution test cases, coordinated user acceptance testing and payroll parallel testing, and managed issue resolution while preparing functional deliverables for each project stage.

In 2016, RACV implemented Tableau to establish a centralized Analytics and BI capability supporting HR and payroll reporting for an employee payment entitlements remediation program. RACV deployed Tableau to provide cross functional visibility for HR, payroll, testing, and finance teams, aligning Analytics and BI outputs with remediation governance and stakeholder requirements.
Tableau was configured to deliver interactive dashboards, visualizations, and data modeling layers consistent with Analytics and BI best practices, with data preparation and extracts staged for reporting. The implementation leveraged SQL based data preparation and Excel as part of the data pipeline, and coexisted with selective use of Power BI for complementary analysis, while Tableau served as the primary visualization and dashboarding layer.
Integrations were explicitly driven by extracts from operational systems, including Chris21, Kronos, ECP SAP, and EC Employee Connect, which fed consolidated datasets into Tableau for analysis. Tableau dashboards were used to support testing cycles, test governance, defect management, and reporting for Kronos releases, enabling traceability between source extracts and remediation findings.
Program governance was coordinated by an internal project manager working with business stakeholders and an external quantification vendor to prepare data extracts, review award and agreement compliance, and lead user acceptance testing and release testing. Reporting workflows were restructured to centralize remediation analytics in Tableau, supporting structured defect reporting, release validation, and stakeholder sign off processes.
