| Microsoft | Legacy | Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2018 | 2018 |
In 2018, Royal Cyber implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as its ERP Financial system. The deployment was led by the Finance & HR Operations Global Head and targeted centralization of core finance activities across the organization. The initial scope included corporate accounting, budgeting and forecasting, project performance control, and resource allocation for delivery teams.
Configuration emphasized ERP Financial capabilities such as general ledger, accounts payable processing, month end and management reporting workflows, budget and multi year forecasting, and project accounting aligned to practice and delivery metrics. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central was configured to produce standardized financial datasets that feed Power BI for consolidated reporting and variance analysis. Payroll execution and tax filing were retained with ADP while payroll setup and international payroll requirements were administered by the finance team.
Integrations explicitly implemented alongside Business Central included Zoho for Human Resources, Power BI for all financial reporting, ADP for payroll and tax filing, and Microsoft Dynamics for sales and marketing target versus actual tracking. These integrations supported cross functional workflows between finance, HR, sales, account management, and delivery management, enabling structured monthly KPI reviews and next quarter planning. Operational coverage was global under the Finance & HR Operations lead and encompassed onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, accounts payable, invoice approvals, and department and project budgeting.
Governance and process restructuring introduced monthly management reports, quarterly forecasts, and a performance management system with self appraisal and manager appraisal tied to KPI targets for salespeople, practice heads, department heads, Account Managers and Delivery Managers. The implementation supported financial strategic planning and reporting, project performance control, and resource allocation governance. Reported outcomes from the program include reduced overhead by 20 percent, improved cash flow, a 30 percent increase in productivity from training and skills programs, and 100 percent compliance in processing AP, payroll, taxes, general accounting, invoice approvals and budgeting.
